Hotbuys Calendar

Today, alongside the normal Holiday Calendar, Stardoll released a special Hotbuys Calendar. The first two items have been released, and they are the Hot Hot Buys Skirt, which is only 6sd and can be found in the Bonjour Bisou store, and the Hot Hot Buys Lantern, which is 8sd.

In real life, the skirt is designed by David Koma, and is part of his fall/winter 2011 collection. Does anyone know the real life version of the lantern? Really appreciated.

Hotbuys Berets released in Starplaza

They're adorable, aren't they?

Each, they are both only 9sd, and can be found in the Rio shop, which I don't really think makes sense as, well, berets=France?

Hotbuys Suspended Tee Released in Starplaza

Look, i'm not even going to bother trying to work out what number this Hotbuys is. It's probably about the eighth Hotbuy released in Starplaza this month. I'm not sure, and i'm not going to bother trying to find out.

Anyway, Stardoll has released the Hotbuys Suspender Tee, one of my personal favourites from this months Hotbuys. It's only 15sd, and can be found in the Stardoll shop. I completely love the simplictiy of it, and would love to wear it in the future. In real life, it's designed by Dannijo. Here's a picture of the real life version.

Hotbuys Dress Released in Starplaza.

Another Hotbuy has been released, the Hotbuys Dress (f*ck yeah creative name!). It's 17sd and can be found in the Bonjour Bisou store. It's quite nice, and I think I will buy it as soon as I buy some stardollars. Here's an outfit I made with it.

Hotbuys Silver Heel Boots Released in Starplaza

The Hotbuys Silver Heel Boots have been released in Starplaza, and they are 12sd and can be found in the Fallen Angel shop.

 In real life, they are called Absinthe Metal Heel High Boots by Topshop. Sadly, they are made 1OO% of leather, which as both a buddhist and an environmentalist, is such a no-no, so I would never buy them.

Hotbuys Tube Dress Released in Starplaza

The third Hotbuy for this month has been released in Starplaza. The Hotbuys Tube Dress is 18sd (should be cheaper!) and from the Bonjour Bisou store. Click here to get it in your Starplaza Dressing Room.

I don't really have many comments on this dress. It's just rather plain. I think the only highlight of the dress would be the small, but lovely coloured lines (excluding the circles).

Hotbuys Silver Nacklace Released in Starplaza.

The second Hotbuy for this month has been released, and it's called Hotbuys Silver Necklace, and cost the cheap price of 8sd and can be found in the Tingeling shop. I think it is actually quite nice, and I myself would wear it. The price is pretty impressive, and Stardoll really should lower the prices of Hotbuys. I mean, if they have lower prices, more people can buy them, and most of the time, people sell their hotbuys for a bigger profit, which makes other users spend more on them, which in return, equals mazoola (slang for money, haha) in the bank for Stardoll.

Hotbuys Mixtape Top Released in Starplaza.

The first of November Hotbuys is now available in Starplaza. The Hotbuys Mixtape Top is 16 stardollars, and can be found in the Fudge shop. Click here to get it in your Starplaza dressing room.

I think it's a rather nice top. The price could probably be a bit lower (maybe 14 or 15sd), but otherwise, I see nothing bad to say about it. All in all, Stardoll did a rather nice job.

It's not the most impressive design, but I can't really complain. The price is OK, but it should be sold at around 14 or 15sd. Trust me Stardoll, the one stardollar really makes the difference.

Stardoll have released the first October Hotbuy in Starplaza. It is called Hotbuys Necklace, and is 13sd and can be found in the Rio shop. I give it three stars out of a possible five, as it seems to be pretty plain.

OK, this is a really weird week for Stardoll...

Hi guys. Sorry I havn't been posting, i've just not been able to get on a computer the last couple of days.

Anyway, has anyone noticed that, well, Stardoll has been getting a little bit boring lately? I mean, i'm still trying to be as active as I can, but there is NOTHING new on the site. I mean, take a look at the latest Starplaza releases...

The Museum Mile store are still some of the newest items... And the day I posted about the opening of the Museum Mile Store..?

Four days ago, people! Thats really not acceptable Stardoll!

There has also been the, "no more proxy freebies" thing going viral around ALL Stardoll blogs (click here if you're one of the people who live under a rock and don't know what i'm talking about). Well, I just want to take a moment of your time by telling you that this is a load of shit. YOU CAN STILL GET MOST PROXY FREEBIES, WITHOUT THE USE OF A MANUAL PROXY!!!! I mean, some of them like contests where you have to chose a photo etc, you can't get them on most proxies, but all of the other contests like quiz & writing ones (they are generally the most popular anyway) you can get easy-peasy, along with the campaigns and stuff. They still work. And as always, the freebies where you just have to log in with a proxy? Um, hello? There's no view/finish thing there!

So, I will be posting all of the proxy freebies still, and I can guarantee you that they will 100% WORK.

Also, Stardoll has still not released October's Hotbuys (this has happened before - Check lel1996stardollblog.wordpress.com/2011/01/09/no-hotbuys-this-month-stardoll-is-like-a-ghost-town/ to read more about it). Stardoll, do you know how hard it is to run a blog? Little things like late Hotbuys actually affect us bloggers, as all of our blogging timetables get messed up (I mean, I have a timetable for when i post certain things. I always post the Hotbuys on the last day of the month). And anyway, isn't kind of a responsibility to get them done and ready by like a couple of days before they're due, or something? I mean, it's kind of like homework, you hand it in on the due date or you fail. Or at least it's like that at my school...

There's much more that could be included in this post, but over the weekend I treated myself and bought the Sims3 Generations Expansion Pack for my Macbook. I really want to try it out, so i'm going to go play it now. 

...and also, i'm getting tired of typing...

Some things that should be Hot(buys).

Afternoon everybody (who is living in the southern hemisphere...basically nobody).

As my close friends would know, when i'm not making an outfit in Starplaza or writing another post, I  spend most of my time surfing the Topshop website (topshop.com). Mainly, because I wish my grandparents had never moved to Australia (WHY?????) and that I lived in the England. Trust me, for those of you who think Australia's great and all, it's boring. Like, seriously, there is nothing here to do!!!

Anyway, back to the subject. I've put together some things that I would love to see as Hotbuys in the near future. Though they're all from Topshop, most of the Hotbuys are inspired by them anyway.

Anyway, first of is this lovely shirt I found. ------------------------------------->

Even though I don't really like blue (I find it quite hard to use in outfits), I really do like this shirt. For those of you who have a Topshop in your country (unlike me...), you can buy it for £34.00 (About $60 in Australian money).

Next of is this handbag (RRP: £25.00)  ------------------------------------------>

I like fake fur. I don't know why the fashion industry thinks using "real fur" (aka, you have a dead animal hanging of you.... fashionable -_^). I also like tassles, so this bag kind of hits the mark with me. I know I could incorporate it in many outfits, and if this was a Hotbuy on Stardoll, then I would buy it.

Oh well, I'm lazy, so I'm not going to continue writing more. Here's the rest of the things I like, and really wish were Hotbuys. Prices are in order below.

HB Jacket Released + Outfit

I never even noticed that Stardoll released the Hotbuy jacket, but I guess they did, so here's the post. The jacket is 21sd (not expensive >_>) and can be found in the Folk shop. I personally, HATE FLORALS, so it's not a fave. I don't think I'll even bother buying it. Here's the outfit I made for the jacket, which I think makes it look pretty decent.

*Shit, I look good as a blonde ^-^*

Do you think the outfit brings out the best qualities of the jacket?

Anyway, i've got tons more to do, lots of people to talk to (seriously, interviews are tiring :/)
