Hello Again

It's been about two and a half years since the last time I posted on this blog. I only just logged back into this account for the first time in ages (after going through about twenty different emails I finally stumbled upon my old Stardoll email. If you're wondering what the reason is for the excessive amount of email accounts is, you can thank Google for making Google+ accounts a requirement to use Youtube, and also my horrible, horrible memory). Anyway, obviously a LOT has happened during this time. The last time I posted on here, I was thirteen years old, and that seems like a millennium ago already. I won't bother you with the details about my personal life, so lets take a look at how Stardoll has changed since my last post.

Would you look at the number of registered accounts - over three hundred million! When I first made this account back in May of 2010, there were a little over 60 million registered accounts, and now, regardless of everything that's happened, we have over 300 million. That's pretty impressive, at least too me. It's a shame that Stardoll no longer celebrates the account milestones like they used too. I guess that's one of the many things I miss about the old Stardoll. That, and my old friends, the clubs, the atmosphere, the blogs, the fame, the fashion, and the friends (God, I sound so cliche, but still).

I don't have too write a post about how most of the Stardoll community seems to have disappeared - that's pretty obvious too everyone, but I still can't help but miss it. I used too love logging in every day, used to rush home from school to check what had happened on Stardoll whilst I was away. Now, there's no point in doing that. Nearly everyone has left. That's not too say that the entire community has dissapeared though - Underneath Stardoll is still going strong as always, and one of my old, favourite Stardoll blogs, Stardoll's Most Wanted recently made a comeback (and I suggest you check them out, as well, it's a great blog). I may be exaggerating though, because a new generation has started on Stardoll, of people younger than myself, and maybe it's just me personally who hasn't been able to connect with them as such.

I'm going to finish this post here for now, and hopefully I'll post again in the morning. For now, I wish you all a good night :)

Hotbuys Calendar

Today, alongside the normal Holiday Calendar, Stardoll released a special Hotbuys Calendar. The first two items have been released, and they are the Hot Hot Buys Skirt, which is only 6sd and can be found in the Bonjour Bisou store, and the Hot Hot Buys Lantern, which is 8sd.
Click here to get the skirt in your Starplaza dressing room.

In real life, the skirt is designed by David Koma, and is part of his fall/winter 2011 collection. Does anyone know the real life version of the lantern? Really appreciated.

Evil Panda Braids, Re-re-released in Starplaza.

I was surprised to see that Stardoll has re-re-released these braids again. Last year, the orange one was available for free, and since then you were able to buy it in Starbazaar for cheap (I saw it multiple times for the cheap prices of 2-5sc). You can buy them now if you want, but I don't really think it's worth it.

Hotbuys Berets released in Starplaza

They're adorable, aren't they?
Each, they are both only 9sd, and can be found in the Rio shop, which I don't really think makes sense as, well, berets=France?

For the grey & purple beret, click here.
For the leopard print beret, click here.

Free Animated Android Logo

Today, you should have recieved a free Android logo in your suite. It's not really amazing, but it's kind of cool as it's animated, so it does things like jump and move around a little bit.
Anyway, the only reason I am posting this, is because I wanted some of your ideas for what Stardoll can make now days. Like, do you like animated items like this? Do you think it would be cool for some beauty parlour animated items, etc?
I was just wondering. Maybe we could send some suggestions to Stardoll? :3

New Dorée in Starplaza

New colours & Highlighters. Nothing amazing.
Just a random idea, but if anyone who works at/for Stardoll is reading this, why not do like, sparkling hair colours (with shimmering/glittering effects). I would pay for that.

Click here to visit the store.
