New Store: Museum Mile

Stardoll has released a new store, Museum Mile. Click here to go to the store.

The clothing items are all inspired by artworks, such as Van Gogh's Starry, Starry Night (Level 6 of the store). You can click on the paintings to get the clothes. The paintings are limited, and cost 100 stardollars each (not worth it in my opinion). There are also statues that range between 30-85sd. All in all, I rate this store 3 stars out of five.

Stardoll have added a new floor to the MSW shop. This floor is a big improvement compared to the last floors of the shop. My favourite piece is the MSW Berry Punch Sequin Dress, which you can get in your Starplaza dressing room by clicking here.

Free Footloose Sign & Outfit

New Suite Features

Today, Stardoll has added two new suite features to our suites. 

The first one is the style by room feature (click here to see more about it). This feature lets you choose a different outfit for each room. Though, is it just me, or can we not use this feature in our main room? For some reason, it just won't show up there. Anyway, the second feature is pretty... basic. It's just a little number that pops up in the corner of our main room, that says how many Starplaza items, Starbazaar items, gifts etc. are in there. Which is kind of helpful for people who get proxy freebies and stuff (like myself), but not really much use for anybody else. 

What do you think? Are these going to be helpful for you?

Pick of the Week (it's back!)

Yes, thats right. Rosie has finally remembered to actually post on the blog. And she also remembered the old pick of the week segment, which is meant to be posted every Monday. I really don't know whether i'm going to be able to post tomorrow or not, but it doesn't really matter does it? Anyway, here's this weeks pick!

This weeks pick of the week is the Pink Typewriter leggings, which are 115 starcoins and can be found in the Bonjour Bisou store (there is also a purple variety, which is shown in the picture above.  On their own, they're not so great. But with a nice pair of shorts and a bo-ho flowy-ish top (great English, huh?) they work really well. I made an outfit with the pink pair. I used:

Presenting: Black Rose Photography

Well, a few weeks ago, I had quite a wonderful idea. See, i've always wanted to do something individual, a project of some sort, ever since I joined Stardoll. See, I do love blogging, but simply blogging will not make me, well, "famous" in the Stardoll sense will it? So I thought to myself, and after a while (OK, after a month of thinking), I found out the perfect idea.
As I sat scrolling through the pages of my Stardoll world, I happened to click upon my "photos" page. After a while of clearing out old photos I had no use with (seriously, why did I take seven photos of me and other Stardoll friends at certain parties that badly), and then I happened upon some rather nice ones.
See, now Stardoll has the effects, everybody seems to be able to take wonderful shots. But, there are a certain few that will always stand out.
Whenever I take a photo on my Stardoll camera, a lot of time, money (stardollars mainly), care and effort goes into that one perfect shot. Before I can take the perfect photo, I need to style an outfit for my medoll, make my medoll's face/makeup/body/jewellery incorporate into the outfit, then I need to set the background of the photo up (always difficult), and then I need to take a few shots of different zooms to find the perfect one.

So, after tons of effort and planning, I announce my new photography blog, blackrosephotography-sd.blogspot.com. Please help me by following, commenting and helping me make some more beautiful photos.

Young Hollywood, Season #2

Good afternoon everyone. Today my school had a mufti day, which means that I didn't have to wear my fugly school uniform for a change. So now i'm feeling quite happy, and I also have no homework, so I shall blog!

Anyway, today Stardoll released the, for want of a better word, second season of the Young Hollywood store. the prices range from 25sd to 175sd. The majority of the clothing is pretty weak, with most of them being only worthy of maybe being in the "Bonjour Bisou" bargain bin (a.k.a, they should be sold as plain, cheap items). The accessories on the other hand, seem to be the highpoint of the store. My favouite is the Electric Gaga Hair, which is 38 stardollars SOLD OUT. Click here to visit the store. The Stardoll Peace Project

Blame my teachers who are addicted to giving out homework!), but I don't think I should just write the link on the blog, because I think The Stardoll Peace Project deserved much more than that.

The Stardoll Peace Project (lets call it it SPP for short), is a blog dedicated to, well, having a better and more peaceful world Stardoll. Some things that should be Hot(buys).

Afternoon everybody (who is living in the southern hemisphere...basically nobody).

As my close friends would know, when i'm not making an outfit in Starplaza or writing another post, I  spend most of my time surfing the Topshop website (topshop.com). Mainly, because I wish my grandparents had never moved to Australia (WHY?????) and that I lived in the England. Trust me, for those of you who think Australia's great and all, it's boring. Like, seriously, there is nothing here to do!!!

Anyway, back to the subject. I've put together some things that I would love to see as Hotbuys in the near future. Though they're all from Topshop, most of the Hotbuys are inspired by them anyway.

Anyway, first of is this lovely shirt I found. ------------------------------------->

Even though I don't really like blue (I find it quite hard to use in outfits), I really do like this shirt. For those of you who have a Topshop in your country (unlike me...), you can buy it for £34.00 (About $60 in Australian money).

Next of is this handbag (RRP: £25.00)  ------------------------------------------>

I like fake fur. I don't know why the fashion industry thinks using "real fur" (aka, you have a dead animal hanging of you.... fashionable -_^). I also like tassles, so this bag kind of hits the mark with me. I know I could incorporate it in many outfits, and if this was a Hotbuy on Stardoll, then I would buy it.
